The Founder

Anastasia Sokolow

Anastasia is of Russian descent; she grew up in Paris surrounded by the world of Russian art. From an early age, she was also drawn to pre-Columbian cultures and their primordial symbolism — two influences that shaped her artistic vision.

Anastasia discovered the world of perfume when she joined the Yves Saint Laurent Beauté marketing team in New York.

Back in Paris, she then fully immersed herself into this universe, learning about the history of perfume, studying the great masterpieces of French Haute Parfumerie preserved by the Osmothèque Conservatory of Perfume and going through high-level training on scent ingredients and fragrance composition at ISIPCA (the French school of perfumers). She then decided to launch Sulékó, a Perfume House which seeks to reunite Perfume and French Artistic Craftsmanship. Her creations were featured in Forbes, FT, Vogue…

Nature, a living language

Symbolic stories rooted in nature

The Language of the Seasons

Sulékó's creations are born from a deep connection to nature. Anastasia perceives nature as a living language. During her travels, she does not simply observe — she feels. She absorbs places through their textures, tensions and atmospheres, where sensory impressions trigger emotions within her.

Through what she designates as the Language of the Seasons, she translates these experiences into symbolic stories which transform feelings into form, colours and scents.

Each fragrance is a symbolic story, rooted in a personal experience in nature. Born from a personal perception, yet designed to resonate beyond it, each scent evolves with the person that wears it. Its sillage is not just a trace, but a presence that stays with you — shifting, deepening or quieting what you feel, as you go about your life.

Limoges porcelain — a Sulékó sculptural bottle

French artistic craftsmanship

Perfumes & Ceramics

Anastasia collaborates with French master ceramicists to design the bottle of each Sulékó fragrance. Rooted in exceptional French craftsmanship, every bottle translates the story behind each fragrance into forms, textures, and colours through the use of techniques such as: Limoges Porcelain, crystalline glazes, mixed-clays faience, Terra Sigillata…

Composed with precious essences and housed in sculptural, refillable pieces, each creation is both a fragrance and a collectible work of art — designed to accompany you over time.
